    Types

    • Follicular Unit Extraction: In this method, the hair follicles are extracted individually and then they are transplanted one by one on the affected area (bald area). This surgery is more effective in case of mild baldness and it does not leave any scar.
    • Follicular Unit Transplantation: In this method, the strip of hair is taken from the back of the scalp and then it is transplanted on the affected area. The disadvantage is that it leaves a scar on the scalp.
