    Criteria for transplanting Scarring Alopecia

    1. The first and foremost condition which is required for treating alopecia is that it must be quiet for 1-2 years before the transplant.
    2. The patient should not be under any medication. The patient should not be under any topical, oral or injection medication. 4. The physician must not be able to notice even single evidence of LPP in the past 12 months. The pull test must also come out to be negative.
    5. The patient and the physician must not be able to notice any sign of hair loss over the past 12 months.
    6. The same should be supported by the photos since the last 12 months.
    7. The patient must have sufficient donor hair to carry out the process of transplant. This might not be the case with many patients.
