A Tiring Schedule Is Also Reason Of Thin Hair

A tired body and thinning hair –is there any connection? You must be thinking of course not. But in reality, it is a truth. We already know that sleep is an important aspect of our health. It is the time when the body rejuvenates itself. The skin also does its repair work during this time. But the hair loss is also connected to the tiredness of the body. If we are low on sleep, our body can’t function effectively, which leads to hair thinning as well. Lack  of sleep leads to poor biological functioning of the body and disruption of the natural hair cycle. Hair transplant surgery is the last resort if the hair loss becomes excessive

Hair loss is a natural process which happens at the rate of about 100 strands per day. Our hair loss is consistently replaced with new hair. But when the restoration process doesn’t happen as fast as the loss, we start experiencing balding.

    Banish the stress

Modern living gives us a stressful life. Though some stress is good, more stress starts wreaking havoc on our health. If we don’t address our stress-causing factors, the chemical build up on the body starts influencing the hair follicles. The hair loss which is caused due to stress is called Telogen Effluvium. The natural hair cycle, which consists of three phases, gets affected by the stress. All the phases,  growth, rest and shedding are influenced by stress. Telogen Effluvium is a condition in which hair enters the resting phase for a long period of time. Physical stress can cause a lot of hair loss.

The hair loss due to stress is visible after two months of an event which may have shocked the person. Mostly, the hair loss is temporary. Stress is also known to trigger hereditary hair loss, which makes it important for you to remain stress-free.

    Hair loss and sleep

Sleep is the ideal time for the body to replenish itself. The reason is good enough for every person to ensure that he or she gets a proper sleep in the required amount. It is the key to maintaining all the body functions and recharge our electrolytes. If we don’t take sufficient sleep, it leads to the weakening of the immune system as there is a lack of nutrients in the body. This causes the roots of the hair to become weak, which leads to hair loss.

    How much sleep?

Sleep requirements are different from person to person. It depends on the age, gender and the lifestyle of the person. While children need a greater amount of sleep, the adults need a lesser amount. Some adults may feel completely rejuvenated in six hours but some may require more hours. An average adult needs about 8 hours of sleep every day. Indulge yourself with proper sleep and watch your hair problems go.
